OH! and a huge part of this was the justification of feeling- not to fake emotion but to go with whatever you yourself feel at the moment (where have I heard this before?)

soccer practice tonight fml.

Read through the intro to my book. It seems as if the author of the intro(David Mamet) really knew what he was talking about. He described many of the feelings i felt during the summer. Confusion about how I was supposed to perceive exercises and fear that everyone was understanding them except me. As such i feigned understanding of the exercises, a feat which Mamet says that he too did during his time as a student of acting.
